Being mad in passion for something, can really deserve to be equated with scores or marks ?
Lets just not overthink about it and should
unbiasedly analyse it.
NOTE:
All those who are reading about Sir Ben Cichy, stuck
with his statement about vision towards being
passionate for creation and development.
Something about NASA and Ben:
The NASA Exceptional Engineering Achievement Medal was established in 1981 to extol extraordinary engineering contributions for achieving aeronautical or space exploration goals, awarded for individual efforts in applications of engineering principles or methodologies that have resulted in a contribution of fundamental importance in the field or have significantly intensified the understanding of the field and advanced the state of the practice as demonstrated by an application to aerospace systems.
He was connected with NASA as :
Mission System Engineer, Restore-L Mission
Mission System Engineer (MSE) and
Engineering Technical Authority (ETA) for
the Restore-L On-Orbit Servicing Assembly
and Manufacturing (OSAM) technology
demonstration mission.
Mission System Engineer, Asteroid Robotic Redirect Mission
Technical lead for the Goddard Space Flight Center
team developing the Asteroid Redirect
Robotic Mission Capture Module which
prepares to land a 10 metric ton
vehicle on the surface of a low gravity asteroid,
collect a boulder, and return
it to the Earth-Moon system.
Surface Operations, Phoenix Mars Lander
Carried and supported Mars Phoenix Lander primary
mission surface operations at
the University of Arizona.
Performed multiple tactical and strategic operation
roles working on “Mars Time.”
Flight Software Engineer, New Millennium Program Space Technology 6 Mission
Developed advanced onboard autonomy software
for extended operations of the EO-1 spacecraft.
Performed mission operations that resulted in the
EO-1 spacecraft autonomously retargeting
future activities from sensed observations.
The story of building mars exploration rover.
Mars – The dusty, rocky and barren land where there were no traces of life.
everything about the planet was examined thoroughly and due to some reasons for the next 20 years they didn’t send any robots to Mars and in during that span of time, they’ve decided to go on with a whole new innovative technology for landing on Mars, wrapped the lander in bubble wrap and bounced it on the surface of Mars. In 1996 his team came up with a first ever made rover for landing on Mars and in 1999 they encountered two catastrophic failures in landing.
In 2004, an attempt got passed and again they got the chance to explore the red planet.
The efforts for finding any traces of life components on the red planet were carried on.
everything he did with his team was immensely inspirational and develops in the individual- the quality of rejuvenating the different vision for the nature.

Software Development Engineer
He also worked at Microsoft and
Designed, developed, tested, and
shipped software in C++ for interfacing and
synchronizing mobile devices with
Microsoft Exchange servers.
Above is highlighted some of the works by
Ben but there is alot more to know about him.
Let’s know about him
Benjamin Cichy – the principal systems
architect for blue origin
He had lead numerous systems and
software engineering positions at NASA’s
Goddard Space Flight Center and
The Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Beside being the
Mission System Engineer at Goddard for the
Asteroid Redirect Robotic Mission,
the Project System Engineer
for the Mars 2020 mission
through Mission Concept Review,
the Chief Software Engineer on the
Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) mission,
and an Entry Descent and
Landing Systems Engineer on the Phoenix Mars lander,
Ben has been honoured with two
NASA Exceptional Engineering Achievement Medals,
a NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal, and
multiple NASA Group Achievement Awards, for his work.
Ben holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in
Computer Science from
Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and
also a Master’s degree in
Aerospace Engineering from the
University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
He married Emily Cichy and
has three children. He is an American engineer.
The GPA effect
Nowadays , his tweet is becoming popular
among the youth:
highlighting the importance of real passion over just
studying and passing with graduate degrees.
It is a psychological fact that tracing some other
individual’s mind is impossible,
no one actually can feel and
think about that moment and his state of mind
when he got his academic result as 2.4GPA!
Yes its two point four !
Conclusion
Ultimately you will move upon the path of your decisions but its important to develop a good and appropriate analyzing power although things can be understood as time passes and experience increases by overcoming and tackling the obstructions.
Mathematically one can understand the concept of life as:
F(life)=sinx
and it can be
F(life)≠mx+c
